A quick painting of Finnick Odair from the Hunger Games trilogy. He keeps popping into my head every time I listen to this awesome song: [link]
I took reference (just a bit, wasn't trying to make a realistic picture) from this photo of Alex Pettyfer [link] because lookwise he's pretty much what I pictured Finnick to be like. I'm not sure he'd be able to pull off the role though. Even if he IS gorgeous and all, he hasn't blown me away with his acting skills just yet.
Colored pencils, watercolors and teeny tiny bit of markers were used. Took about 3 hours, I think.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is my first critique, because I felt the duty to give you more than a comment.
First, the techniques you used here are very harmonious, they complement right. Warm colours for Finnick are a good choice, but are a little bit contradictory, judging the expression and feelings are transmitting. However, Finnick's expressions make sense enough.
The wings you made are very subtil and good made, and the little detail of the rope in his nake it's so simbolic. The picture in general is so well done. Sorry, I am a novice... but this is a well done job! Nice!
