Ball For Baby Tooth

My entry for group's Midnight Summer Ball contest!

My first idea was a bit over the top, I wanted to do an interactive image of some sort, but decided that was too much work. From the start I wanted to do something related to Baby Tooth though, because she's one of my favorite characters and needs loooove~
Though the wibe in this picture ended up being a bit too love-dazed and romantic. I was trying to make something that celebrates the friendship between these two characters, so Jack is doing a nice gesture for his dear friend (and because it's summer, he has time to do stuff like this haha).

Some parts of the drawings are a bit messed up *coughbackgroundcough* partly thanks to my scanner, partly thanks to bad choices from my part, but overall I'm rather happy with the end product (and as always the original looks better). I hope it's a bit different approach to the contest that others might have.
